University of East Anglia: Lecturer in Medieval Studies

The School of History and School Literature, Drama and Creative Writing wish to appoint a Lecturer in Medieval Studies. We particularly welcome applications from candidates working on LGBTQ+ histories as well as literature and/or race. 

You will be expected to contribute to existing modules in medieval history and literature, to supervise related undergraduate and post-graduate dissertations, contribute to module development, and to carry out research within the framework of the Faculty’s research strategy. 

You will also carry out formal administrative duties and act as a Student Adviser.  This full-time post is available from 1 October 2022 on a fixed term basis for 3 years.

You will need a PhD in a relevant subject area, proven experience of undergraduate teaching and expertise in a related area and a proven track record of publications.
