The ARC Centre of Excellence for the History of Emotions calls for expressions of interest to be part of its farewell two-day Symposium, ‘Past and Future Emotions’, to be held from 28–29 November 2022 at The University of Melbourne, as part of the 2022 Congress of HASS.
The purpose of the symposium is to celebrate the many achievements of emotions research associated with CHE while seeking contributions that lend themselves to discussion about future directions in emotions research in the humanities.
Organisers welcome Expressions of Interest for papers, roundtables, workshops, panels, lightning talks, and posters on the theme of Past and Future Emotions (broadly conceived).
Proposals for conference papers and posters should consist of:
- A title
- An abstract (max. 200 words)
- Type of presentation (i.e. 20-minute paper, 5-minute lightning talk, poster presentation)
- A short biography (max. 50 words)
The conference committee welcomes themed panel or workshop session proposals for the conference. Proposals should consist of:
- Panel/Workshop Title
- Proposed Chair (if available)
- Details of each presenter and paper as described above
