New Approaches to Early English: Challenges in the Digitisation Era, Universidad de La Rioja, 14-16 September 2022.

The Spanish Society for Medieval English Language and Literature (SELIM) and the local organising committee invite members of the Society and all other scholars interested in the field to participate in the 32nd International Conference of SELIM, to be hosted by the Department of Modern Languages of the University of La Rioja. The organisers welcome papers dealing with any aspect of medieval English language and literature and particularly encourage the submission of papers that offer new readings or perspectives on medieval English texts, as well as new approaches and analytical techniques.

The conference will be organised in four thematic panels (see below).

Scholars interested in offering 20-minute papers, followed by a 10-minute discussion, must send a 300-word abstract (excluding references) in electronic format (please use this MSWord template) to the corresponding panel coordinator before 31 January 2022

Acceptance of proposals will be confirmed by 31 March 2022. References should comply to the latest APA format (7th edition). Should you have any doubts regarding panel adscription, please send your proposal to the organising committee.
