Digital Humanities Research Fellowships – 4 positions (Italy)

The Venice Centre for Digital and Public Humanities (VeDPH) at the Department of Humanities (DSU), Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, is seeking applications for four digital humanities post-doctoral research fellowships in the following fields:

  • Digital and Public Archaeology
  • Digital and Public Art History
  • Digital and Public History
  • Digital and Public Philology

All four fellowships will design and carry out a research project; present the project in a VeDPH seminar; contribute to teaching activities and the creation of contents and materials for higher education at the VeDPH/DSU; contribute to grant proposal writing; take part in VeDPH meetings and other activities; and contribute to VeDPH organisation activities.

At the end of his/her research activity, the research fellow is required to provide the Department with research outcomes in the form(s) envisaged in the project (such as digital edition/website, software
application, publications, virtual exhibitions, public events).

Remuneration will be €19 367 (gross), for a term of 12 months, with the expected starting date being 1 October 2021. Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant field.
