Ceræ: An Australasian Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies, is an award-winning, peer-reviewed, academic journal of medieval and early modern studies. Since its inception in 2013 at the University of Western Australia, Ceræ has intentionally been both a digital-only and an open access publication.
Ceræ is seeking submissions for volume 8 of the journal, on the theme of ‘Exile, Isolation, and Quarantine’, accepting submissions of original and engaging articles of approximately 5000-8000 words, varia of up to 3000 words, and book reviews of 800-1200 words.
The deadline for themed submissions is 15 MAY 2021, but the journal does accept non-themed submissions all year round.
There is also an annual essay prize for the best themed or non-themed article written by a graduate or ECR worth $200 AUD.
